You Wanna See a Butterfly?

Here... I've got one smashed in this book somewhere... aha! Here it is! A pipevine swallowtail... very rare. Yes, I realize the colors are a little dull... it is dead after all. But this way you can look closely at it... study it. You can turn it over in your fingers and catalog its parts and know everything you need to know about a butterfly, with none of that silly running around in a meadow to worry about!

You wanna see Jesus?

Hmm... oh yes! Here's a tract.

I've long been uncomfortable with the typical tracts I've seen handed out. I know that Jack Chick points to people who came to Christ due to his work, but I often wonder how many more people have been driven away from Christ due to tracts.

I guess some can point to Paul's comment about that at least the Gospel is preached, but some tracts preach a questionable gospel.

Your point probably has less to do with the quality of tracts and more to do with helping people establish a genuine relationship with Christ. It's all related, though.

you got me thinking. thanks to the lord we share the same spiritual wisdom much greater than when we first recieved the gospel of Jesus Christ. look at what the butterfly used to be before it grew to be so beautiful. therefore isnt it possible that a crumpled up piece of paper(a seed of the word of God) could enter the heart of a man and turn into a blessed eternity with our Lord and Savior, read (1cor 2;2,7)Lets not complain about how The Word of God is presented but pray for the hearts it is presented to.
